watch is beautiful. just a perfect size for my wrists,which are quite slim.looks expensive,without being too blingy & 'in your face'. the service was also 1st class from first class watches! i ordered online at 2pm & my watch was delivered the very next day at 11am,how's that for service!? they also removed links from the watch which i had requested .will definitely recommend. & use again.thank you

Lets get its one fault out of the way first, I am being very picky here, please bare in mind. The light shines to bright at the 6 oclock position, which makes it hard to read in the dark. That aside, this watch is a stylish yet practical time piece. I bought this to replace a G shock I bought from the USA. I like it better and it was cheaper. I found setting it up a bit complicated but like anything once I had read the instructions it was very simple. Overal an exceent buy, I would recommend without hesitation.

I've been considering getting a good quality watch for a little while now and settled on the Citizen Red Arrows Chronograph.

I'm a big guy and have wide wrists so I was after a bigger watch and had reservations about the diameter, but it fits my wrists really nicely. It took me a little while to get used to the second hand being one of the smaller dials (the larger one is used for the Chronograph - stopwatch basically and doesn't move unless you're using it).

The 24 hour dial seems to be fixed to the same time as the main watch so I'm a bit lost as to it's inclusion.

The ring on the outside of the watch (for time zone differences) is controlled by the crown on the left hand side of the watch and I can see it being useful when I travel.

The buttons and crowns all feel good and solid and the build quality is really nice. It's also really cool that I won't ever need to buy a battery for it as it uses the Eco-Drive technology (powered by light - check out the Citizen website for a brief video.)

The date is a bit recessed from the dial, and can be a touch difficult to read at an angle. A little bit of magnification would've been nice.

The glow-in-the dark bits on the dial glow nice and brightly and are plenty large enough to make it easy enough to read the time in low light.

The leather strap and clasp are really good quality and hold very sturdy. The loops that hold the excess strap are nice and thick as well (I've had other watches where this bit broke straight away.)

The box from Citizen included a mini-CD with instructions for the Skyhawk version, which isn't this one. I think someone mixed them up; but it wasn't FirstClassWatches fault! Which is why I'm not sure if the 24 hour dial can be a different time to the main watch.

The instruction book is pretty general and covers the whole range of Citizen watches. It would've been nice if it was a bit more detailed about this one in particular.

With the price match I managed to get this watch really quickly (I ordered it late Friday night and it arrived special delivery on Tuesday) at a really good price!

I'm definitely bookmarking FirstClassWatches for future use!

Bought this watch for my wife for xmas. she recently tried this watch on in h'samuel & loved it. However i did not love h'samuel price tag of £300. i paid £228 what a bargain got delivered the next day superb.also came in a nice presentation box Thank You First Class Watches. Would Definetly recomend this company for watches.

Well I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the watch I had bought for my fathers Christmas present. I knew his last watch had broken and he needed a replacement. My mum mentioned that he liked a thin watch and that it had to be analogue. Since I am a bit of a gadget fan I like to get him something that i would like too,this solar power watch fitted the bill perfectly.I have opened the watch to have a look and set the time and date for him. I know that when he opens it at Christmas he will love it! Smart black leather strap and a stylish black face and chrome suround - timeless in my opinion. Fantastic watch Citizen
